Bio
Currently Chris is based out in Asia, China, Hong Kong were he has been since 2006. Chris is involved in Management Consulting Golf Operations, Course Maintenance, Golf Academies, Facility Design, Apparels & Head wear, Golf Instruction & Tournament Golf.
Experience in the golfing world in several countries South Africa, Scotland, England, Germany, other Parts of Europe, Asia.
Chris started his golfing career as Professional in 1999 playing of +4 in Phalaborwa South Africa.
After 2 years of Teaching & Playing, 2001 he moved to Scotland were his family originate from to work at Scotscraig Golf Club (6th oldest private members club in the world, 13th oldest golf course).
Chris was teaching golf at the home of golf St Andrews. In 2004 he joined the Golf Academy Team at St. Mellion International in Cornwall, South West England and became Head Instructor for 2 years, 2006 he moved to base in Germany, opening his own Golf Academy and doing Golf Schools to Spain and around Europe.
Alongside his growing career as an instructor, Chris has continued playing tournament golf on many of the Mini Tours around the world following his passion for playing and competing.
2007 Chris came out to Asia to develop his career and golf in China, opening the 1st PGA Branded Golf Academy in Asia, he continues to develop golf in China & Asia, growing his own business of Golf Design & Consulting, as well as his own Teaching Academies - Golf Academy Asia & Performance Studio - Golf Performance Centre in Hong Kong were he is focused on developing all levels of golfer.
