Bio

I was born in 1973, in Basingstoke Hampshire United Kingdom.

When I was eight years old I starting having interest  in golf. In 1985 I became a member of the Basingstoke golf club. My first handicap at the age of 13 was 34, with a lot of enthusiasm and practice by the age of 15 my handicap was reduced to 4 . With this handicap at that age I proved to be a promising golfer. My father wanted me to concentrate on my education. This took up a lot of time, which unfortunately I couldn’t practice as much as I would like so my handicap stayed around 3.

In 1991, after my study I had several interviews to become a technical engineer; my father wanted me to have a solid diploma and experience in the engineering world. My apprenticeship was at Lansing Linde a German forklift truck company in Basingstoke. After my engineering study for 4 years I still wanted to follow my dream in golf. I decided to follow the British P.G.A training program to become a professional golfer.

My professional career began at Calcot Park Golf Club under the supervision of Albert Mackenzie. After four years of training I was a fully qualified P.G.A Professional. I then looked for another challenge so I decided to move to Holland. After an interview with the owner of Golf Centrum Rotterdam (John Scholte), I became a team member. After four years I took another step in my career.

In June 2000 I started as business professional at the Rijswijkse Golf Club. At the Rijswijkse golf club I had the freedom to improve my teaching method and to grow in the golf world in Holland. After 7 years of hard work and dedication I was nominated number one coach of Holland, through coaching several national players, European tour professional Robin Swane and the great success of Joost Luiten who is now playing on the European Tour. Season 2010 Joost's first full season on the European he finished top 30.

In 2008 I became an advanced P.G.A professional. In January 2010 I started my next step in my career, the new head professional at Golf club Wouwse plantage, Bergen op zoom in Holland. Here I have a professional fitting centre using the select fit system from Taylor Made together with Kudu Flightscope launch monitor and swing analysis system from GASP.
