Harold Swash has been involved in the golf industry for over 40 years as a coach, designer of putters and training aids.
Born in Birmingham, and a proud supporter of Aston Villa Football Team Harold now resides in Southport and is a member of the prestigious Hillside Golf Club.
Putting coach to Padraig Harrington as well as many other famous tournament professionals Harolds original trade was that of a production engineer. It was Harolds knowledge and expertise in this field coupled with his passion for the game that inspired him to design his first putter as part of the Align Range back in the 1960's.
As Harolds involvement in the game intensified, through working with many of the European Tours Professionals with his range of putters his understanding of the determining factors to make a succesful putt grew and Harolds own coaching beliefs emerged.
It is these coaching beliefs that has helped him further develop his range of putters and training aids. The Development of the C-Groove putter is a reflection of Harolds guiding principle in his coaching. The C-Groove achieves a forward roll sooner than any other putter on the market. A principle that Harold seeks to develop with all his pupils.
Harolds uncomplicated and common sense approach to the 'game within the game' has led some of the worlds leading players to seek his advice and his reputation as a leading coach grew around the world.
He has packaged together his experience and expertise to bring the golfing public a unique coaching experience at his purpose built facility, the Harold Swash Putting School of Excellence.
